Do you have WiFi?:
All our rooms have free WiFi. Please note that all devices share the same bandwidth, and use the same connection. The network name and password is provided on arrival in our welcome pamphlet.
Do you have a TV?
All of our rooms have a TV with basic cable and some rooms have a Smart TV.
Do you have any appliances in the room?
We provide small fridges and coffee machines in most of our rooms. We are also able to provide kettles upon request. Some larger rooms with two double/queen beds also have a microwave oven.
What size is the bed?:
Most of our rooms have one queen bed, but some of our larger rooms with multiple beds have at least one queen/double bed, and a second queen/double/single bed. Please check your confirmation email or contact us for more details.
Do you use feather duvet or pillows?:
Most of our duvets and pillows use feathers, but we do provide alternatives upon request.
Do you have irons and ironing boards in your rooms?:
Our rooms do not have irons nor ironing boards, but they can be provided upon request
Do you have air-conditioning?:
Some of our rooms have air-conditioning, and others have a standing fan for hot days.
Do you have showers or bathtubs?:
Most of our rooms have showers, but some have bathtubs. Please check the room details when booking if you have a preference.
Do you have hair products, or toiletries included?:
All of our rooms have a hair dryer provided. We also provide liquid hand soap, liquid body soap, shampoo, and conditioner. We do not provide any loofahs, shower sponges, or washcloths.
Are all washrooms(restrooms) private use?:
Yes most of our rooms have a washroom in suite, with a couple of exceptions. The rooms that don’t have an in suite washroom do not share it with any other room.
Do you provide maid service?:
We provide maid service upon request only. From 9 am to 3 pm.
Do you have handicap-accessible rooms?
No, unfortunately, all of our rooms require the use of some amount of stairs to access. None of our rooms have any sort of modification for ease of use for anyone with mobility issues.

Bycicles
Do you have a bicycle storage area?:
No, we do not have a dedicated bike storage area. You may lock your bicycle in our backyard, but we can not guarantee it’s safety, so we accept no responsibility for damage or theft. We do not allow bicycles inside our homes, so plan accordingly.
Do you provide bicycle locks?
We do not provide bicycle locks; you are expected and heavily encouraged to bring your own.
Parking
Do you have parking(Douglas House &Cambie Lodge):
We have limited parking available and operate on a first-come, first-served basis. There are also paid parking options nearby, as well as authorized neighborhood parking lots. Please note that street parking has certain restrictions.
Do you have parking(Windsor House):
Windsor House does not have parking. Paid parking is available two blocks away or at authorized neighborhood parking lots. Please note that street parking has some restrictions. We do not provide any parking of our own, but there is plenty of street parking close by. Street parking is 2 hours Monday to Friday from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, and unlimited on weekends, and after 6:00 pm. Please check the street signs before parking, as some areas are permit-only.
Can we reserve a parking spot?
No, we have limited parking available and operate on a first-come, first-served basis for Douglas & Cambie Lodge.
Do you charge extra for the parking spot?
No, the parking is complimentary.
Can we park multiple cars?:
We only allow one car per room. Any additional cars will have to use street or lot parking. Failure to comply with our rules may result in your car being towed.
Can we leave our car parked after check-out:
We do not allow guests to leave their cars later than 11 am. Failure to comply with our rules may result in your car being towed.
General
Do you have a shuttle?
We do not have any shuttle services.
Do you store luggage after check-out?:
We do not store luggage for guests that are not currently staying with us. We may hold on to your luggage on the day of your check-out for a few hours before 5 pm.
Do you store luggage for days before check-in or after check-out?
No, we only store luggage for guests that are not currently staying with us. We may hold on to your luggage on the day of your check-out for a few hours before 5 pm.
Do you have an elevator or a bell boy?:
We do not have an elevator. You are expected to move your luggage up and down any steps. Staff may provide help if they are able and available, but are not expected nor required to move anyone’s luggage.
Do you have a computer or printer for public use?:
We do not have any computer or printer open for public use. If you need to print something, you may ask our staff for help, but it will be left to their discretion whether to accept the request or not. We try to be as helpful as we can, but any unreasonable requests will be denied.
Are common areas available at all hours?
We don’t have any strict rules, but we suggest that you limit your use of the shared spaces between 8 am to 8 pm to avoid disturbing other guests. In general, we kindly request everyone to keep the noise level low, especially in the early morning and late evening.
Are pets allowed to the commune areas if somebody visit me during my stay?
No pets are allowed in all areas except for official service dogs, who can stay with guests.
CHECK-IN
Can I check-in before 3:00 pm?
Due to our limited capacity, we cannot guarantee early check-in before 3:00 pm. However, you are more than welcome to drop off your luggage with us from 9:00 am and return at 3:00 pm for check-in.
Can I check-in late?:
Late arrivals are available with prior management approval. Please note that some restrictions may apply depending on the management’s discretion. Therefore, we suggest you contact us in advance for more details.
What should I do if I accidentally take my room key with me while checking out?
In case we notice that a key is missing, we will try to reach out to you. However, if we don’t receive any response on your check-out day, we will charge a $25 replacement fee. If you realize that you have taken one of our keys, please get in touch with us immediately to avoid the $25 fee.
Do you have a lost and found?
We do have a lost and found service available. Any item found in the rooms will be kept for one month in case of a claim. For electronic items, jewelry, or any other high-value item, we will notify you via text message or email on the day of check-out, allowing the guests to return and collect it.
If you have forgotten something and would like us to mail it to you, we are happy to do so. However, please note that this will be at your own risk and expense.
SECURITY
Does each room have its own separate key?
Each of our rooms has its own key with the room name and PIN code on the keychain for the front door.
Do you need a key for the front door?
Our front door is equipped with an electronic door knob that requires a PIN code for access. In case you forget the code, you can find it on the keychain attached to your room key. If by any chance you lose your key or forget the code, you can use the electronic doorbell to contact us for assistance.
Do you have cameras inside the house?
We have installed cameras that monitor the entrance to the house from both inside and outside. Moreover, there are cameras positioned at all private entrances leading to rooms outside the main house. We can use these cameras to see, hear, and communicate with guests as necessary. Please note that there are no cameras installed inside any guest room.
Is breakfast included in our stay, or is it an additional cost?
We offer complimentary breakfast for our guests.
May I invite someone who is not staying in the room to join me for breakfast?
Friends and family of our guests can enjoy breakfast for an additional cost with prior management authorization.
What is the breakfast menu?
Our breakfast menu is Lacto-Ovo-vegetarian.
You can choose from various egg dishes, including omelets cooked to your liking, pancakes, and French toast.
We have a self-serve area where you can find freshly baked croissants, cereal, yogurt, fresh fruit, toast, milk, juice, tea, and coffee.
What time is breakfast served?
Breakfast is served from 8 am to 10 am.
Can I request a room service breakfast?
We do not provide a service room, but guests are free to get food from the kitchen and bring it to their room during breakfast hours.
Can I request an early breakfast?:
For our guests to sleep peacefully first thing in the morning, we cannot serve breakfast before 8:00 am
Can I request a late breakfast?
We are only able to serve breakfast until 10:00 am. Our kitchen staff needs time to clean and prepare for the next day.
Do you serve meat on request?
We only serve the food listed on our menu.
Are there gluten-free options?
We are able to provide gluten-free options, but we do ask that you notify us prior to your arrival so that we may better prepare.
